This Cuban chain is adorned with spikes that are thick and blunt enough to be worn safely and without discomfort. The centerpiece consists of two skulls fused together to form a heart – an allegory of eternal love: they lived long and happily and died together. We softened the intensity of the skulls with heart-shaped stones – three synthetic rubies in slightly varying "pigeon's blood" shades. The clasp was specially designed for this necklace, seamlessly integrated and practical. Despite its striking look, the necklace is lightweight, weighing around 43.5 grams.
